Matt graduated from Texas Tech University with a master’s degree in architecture in 2004. He began his career in Los Angeles working with modern prefabricated housing pioneer Jennifer Siegal at the Office of Mobile Design. From 2006-2011, he practiced as a project designer and manager at Dick Clark Architecture. Projects that Matt has worked on have appeared in numerous local and national publications. The City View House, appeared on the 2009 AIA Home Tour and was featured in Austin Monthly Home magazine. Working with Turk Pipkin and Architecture for Humanity, he designed a basketball court and rainwater collection system for a school in Kenya that won an award from the Texas Society of Architects in 2011. Matt is eager to continue his passion for design through MGD’s current body of work.
