JDD creating sophisticated, classic and elegant architecture, interiors and design objects. A university of Illinois and Cornell University undergraduate and Cornell master of Architecture graduate, John has been practicing architecture since 1988. Living for a decade in Germany, he has worked for some of the leading architects of the 20th century including Norman Foster on the Reichstag project and Helmut Jahn in Berlin and Chicago. Now living in Chicago with his own architectural practice, he is dedicated to a comprehensive approach of integrating technology and sustainability into great design. He has already won several design awards and is a free hand illustrator for Norton Press Publications architectural pocket guide book series which include Chicago, Los Angles and Miami. John has been an adjunct professor at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) since 2004 where he teaches his own advanced elective undergraduate studio and second year graduate design.
