Sprocket Design-Build, Inc. is an Architecture and Construction firm offering design-driven project management for commercial and residential construction, specializing in urban-infill projects. As an architect and builder, company president, William Moore, AIA has designed and built commercial and residential projects in the Colorado front range as well as in North Carolina and the San Francisco Bay area.
Focusing on urban infill projects allows Sprocket to capitalize on interesting architectural opportunities and create projects that complement the unique vibrancy of each neighborhood. The construction craft and adherence to design intent is of utmost importance to the project team and providing architecture and construction services as one unified company allows for a more efficient project delivery than the traditional development model. The complementary business and design goals as well as direct communication ultimately contribute to the successful execution of each project.
Bill Moore, the founder and president of Sprocket is a Licensed Architect, Denver Building Contractor, and NCARB member. A graduate of University of North Carolina at Charlotte and the University of Colorado, Bill, has worked in architecture and development firms throughout the US. He is currently a guest lecturer at the College of Architecture and Planning at the University of Colorado.
After beginning a career in civic architecture in Greensboro and Charlotte, North Carolina, Bill moved to Denver in 1992 where he received a Masters of Architecture degree from CU. After working as a carpenter, and as an architect in Spain, Bill moved to San Francisco to manage construction projects for the office portfolio of William Wilson and mixed-use, developer; Village Properties.
In 2000, Bill returned to Denver and while working as a construction manager for Paragon Homes, reopened Sprocket Design-Build, Inc., in its present form. Since this time, Bill is responsible for architecture and/or construction services for over sixty projects in Denver, North Carolina, California and Idaho.
Mark Tellinger received a Bachelor of Science in Business Logistics from Pennsylvania State University in 1984. Mark has a background in the aerospace industry working with Rockwell International, Science Applications International Corporation, and Ratheon Information Systems from 1985 – 1998.
Mark’s aerospace R & D and management experience has proved invaluable to the construction industry and has informed Sprocket’s project management processes and procedures. He worked as a project manager and developer with Paragon Homes, managing in excess of 20 infill developments in a 3-year period from 1999 – 2002. Mark joined Sprocket Design-Build, Inc. as Vice President in 2003.
Matt, a licensed Colorado architect, joined Sprocket in 2002 after working with several local Denver firms. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from the University of Missouri-Columbia, he participated in the 3+4 cooperative program with Washington University in St. Louis where he graduated with honors with a Master of Architecture.
A highly regarded architect, Matt is responsible for the design of many Sprocket projects and manages all of the architecture design procedures, graphic standards, and “green” building initiatives.
