Alex Anmahian received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Florida in 1982, and subsequently completed a year of graduate studies at the University of Florida School of Building Construction. He earned a Master of Architecture degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design in 1990, where he graduated with distinction. In 1992 he co-founded Anmahian Winton Architects with Nick Winton.
Alex has taught and lectured at the Harvard GSD, and regularly participates in design juries at a variety of institutions, including Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Rhode Island School of Design, and the American University in Beirut. He is a member of the Editorial Board of Architecture Boston magazine, and is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Boston Society of Architects.
Alex is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Boston Society of Architects, and the U.S. Green Building Council. He is a registered architect in Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire, and Minnesota.
