He received his bachelor of Architecture from The University of Texas at Austin in 1997. Braxton began his career with Nelsen Architects (Austin,Tx), Cunningham Architects (Dallas, Tx), and Austin Commercial Construction (Dallas, Tx). He has led as project architect on a variety of commercial, institutional and residential projects, including the $100 million Southern Ute Indian Community campus master plan. His construction management experience includes work for a major $250 million
He began his career in the experimental office of Cunningham Architects in Dallas, where he worked on a variety of commercial, institutional and award-winning residential projects. At Cunningham, he utilized his creative skills to develop conceptual solutions to his client’s needs.Paul received a bachelor of Architecture from the University of Carleton at Ottawa, Canada, graduating with distinction in 1999. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the U.S. Green Building Council. In 2006 Paul partnered with Braxton Werner to form the multi-disciplinary firm Wernerfield.
