A well composed, yet understated entry leads you to surprising views inside. Existing saguaros, a small arroyo and protected views drove the conceptual design for this small winter retreat. The site plan expresses the owner's love and respect for the desert flora.
Sustainable efforts included materials such as clay plaster on walls, colored concrete floors, bamboo ceiling, steel ramada, solar power for electrical energy and water heating. This will be a home to visit and enjoy for many years.
