This modest getaway maintains a small footprint and uses a vertical orientation to compliment the large firs of the cabin’s setting. Conceived of as the first in a series of buildings for a 20-acre parcel overlooking the Saratoga Passage and Cascade Mountains, this cabin serves its active clients with opportunities to enjoy the outdoor activities that the site provides. Durable materials, including board formed concrete, cement board siding and hardwood, are softened with native fir windows and doors and harmonious landscape.
