Born and raised in the midwest, Robert Sweet received his Architecture degree from the University of Kansas. He moved out west after graduating in 2000 and interned for the firm Guthrie + Buresh. He later went on to work for Dean Nota Architect where he gained invaluable experience working on custom modern residential and commercial projects throughout Southern California and abroad. In 2007, ras-a, inc. was born, his own design studio. Though based in Los Angeles, current works include projects in Missouri as well as the West Coast. The goal of ras-a, is to create inventive architecture that enhances the quality of living, while leaving a positive impact on the environment; to provide each project with it’s own unique solution based on the site, context, program, and budget.
