Grouparchitect was founded by Brian Palidar in 2003 with an initial focus on providing
project-oriented, client focused, efficient solutions to a wide variety of commercial clients.
Our practice has evolved to include all shapes and sizes of projects without compromising
personalized service, and the firm likewise has grown to include a wide range of talented
professionals who contribute to making all projects a success. Custom homes as well as
small residential remodels and additions, commercial and mixed use buildings, and nonprofit
development are encompassed within our portfolio of clients and projects.
Initially providing consulting services for Grouparchitect since its inception, Scott came on full time as a Principal in 2008. Scott's project experience ranges from remote vacation homes to in city mixed use developments. As a member of the American Institute of Architects since 2003, he currently serves as chair of AIA Seattle's Custom Residential Architects Network Committee. As a NCARB certified architect, he holds licenses in Washington and Idaho. Out of the office, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, walking his bernese mountain dog and backcountry snowboarding.
Brian Palidar has been specializing in residential and mixed use / commercial projects since founding Grouparchitect in 2003. His experience includes projects of all types and scales and has been practicing in the Pacific Northwest since 1996. Architecture has been an inspiring and integral part of his life since 9th grade when he entered his first drafting competition and his team placed. Brian is a native Seattleite, avid sports fan, part time racer, homebrewer, and summer-time kayak commuter.
