The entire roof is a combination of deck surface and a ‘living’ green roof system. rnrnFor the green roof we used a pre-grown modular system by LiveRoof out of British Columbia www.liveroof.com. These modules came with completely grown sedums (by N.A.T.S. Nursery in Langley BC www.NATSnursery.com )and are not only great to look at, but also have insulating benefits, provide evaporative cooling, storm water management and protect the membrane roof from UV making it last longer.rn
