Julian King Architect was established in 2004, committed to making meaningful architecture, and rooted in its context of time and place.rnrnWe do not have a style, but rather a reverence for the simple and timeless beauty of an inspired idea. A work of architecture, instilled with the poetic, is capable of extending those fleeting moments when sunlight upon the stones touches our hearts-when we are truly alive, and raising the mundane rituals of the everyday into the sublime.rnrnIn the past year, Julian King Architect won first place first place in the Shinkenchiku Residential Design Competition based in Japan, was chosen to be exhibited in the Center for Contemporary Art in Bedminster, as a result of an international competition based in New Jersey, and is currently shortlisted as one of six finalists in an international competition for a new Holocaust Memorial for Atlantic City, New Jersey. Julian King Architect has been published in Japan Architect, New York Spaces, Art World, Fabric Architecture, and other design magazines, and was recently featured in Architecture Record as an "Emerging Architect".
