Herb Roth and Jeff Sheppard established Roth + Sheppard Architects in 1983. The firm maintains a LEED® accredited staff of four project architects, eight design technicians, and two administrative personnel in addition to the two principals. Our collaborative design process stimulates exploration of the known and unknown to uncover opportunities. Through rigorous analysis, combined with an inventive commitment to sustainable design, these opportunities provide the framework for transforming conventional problems into innovative solutions. The resulting environments enhance the building occupants sensory experience, health and productivity while responding to the evolving social, cultural, and technological conditions of modern life. While problem solving addresses the pragmatic, innovation allows for discovery of the unknown. Our project portfolio ranging from regional retail facilities and specialized restaurant environments to justice facilities and secure public safety buildings, illustrates solutions that ultimately create unique experiences, strive for design excellence and emote the spirit of place. Roth + Sheppard Architects is recognized as a leading programming, needs assessment and design firm and has been awarded with over 50 AIA awards for architectural design excellence.
