Joined as founding partners in 2004, David Clinkston and David Brunner combined their depth of professional experience to focus on a new firm dedicated to personalized client service and high quality design. Having worked in leadership positions with prominent firms in the region, each brings 27 years of practice in a broad spectrum of building types. They have met the challenges of unique program requirements, schedule, and budget constraints to produce award-winning results for a number of highly visible projects. Our high level of professional client service is achieved through significant principal involvement, with emphasis on a client-focused design process. Our belief is the client is a critical member of the design team, with continual participation in a collaborative process. This approach assures a fresh and unique client-based solution. Only when a design solution satisfies the user�s needs and goals may it be considered successful. The nuances of a project site and its cultural context inform our approach to an architectural solution. We strive to recognize and utilize local vernacular and neighborhood character as the foundation for a creative design that will "fit". Meeting functional and contextual requirements is coupled with our overriding commitment to breathe life into a project. Good architecture should inspire our daily lives. Sustainable practice is at the core of our firm. We seek to incorporate sustainable approaches in a meaningful and truly integrated way whenever there is an opportunity. We are experienced with various strategies of low impact site development, water conservation and quality, energy efficiency, conservation of materials and resources, and maintaining healthy indoor air quality.
