Rhodes Architecture + Light is an architectural practice in Seattle, Washington and a member of the American Institute of Architects, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and Habitat for Humanity. Tim Rhodes brought eight years of experience as a project architect with an award winning design firm in the Pike Place Market to his own architectural practice.rnrnResidential Design and construction is our love and our focus. The Seattle Times and the American Institute of Architects have selected our work for honors in 1998, 2000, 2001 and 2003. The Kirkland Residence in Kirkland, Washington was cited as a "shining example" of the successful integration of the owner's needs with a sense of playful but careful design. Pacific Magazine also published this unique residence and Fine Home Building Magazine featured the house in the March, 2000 issue. Past and current work designed by Tim Rhodes has been featured in Seattle Homes and Lifestyles Magazine, Pacific Magazine, and Fine Home Building.rnrnThe Norway Hills development, a community of four courtyard homes set on 7 acres of land in Bothell, Washington, was honored by the Seattle Times and American Institute of Architects in 2001 and was chosen as Home of the Year in February, 2002. The Master Builder's Association awarded the Spring Hill House in Kirkland "Best Custom Home" in 2001.rnrnRhodes Architecture + Light approaches each project as unique.
