Founded in 2001, the Philadelphia-based practice is composed of a core team of design professionals who believe that intelligently organized buildings and social spaces are effective vehicles for informal education and interpersonal engagement. In 2002, Founder & Principal, Alan Metcalfe asked one of his clients, Aaron Goldblatt (then Deputy Director of the Wagner Free Institute of Science) to join the firm.
