Walker Warner Architects Mountain Cabin

Walker Warner Architects — Mountain Cabin

Description

A stunning location, the property has views rivaling those of national parks. Our clients wanted to create a cabin that celebrated the surrounding landscape while making a minimal impact on the land. Living spaces were kept small with the intent that most activity would take place outdoors. A timber frame was employed to accommodate a short building season, allow use of reclaimed wood, and tie into the vernacular of mining cabins and barns. Collaboration with artisans was a key to creating such a unique cabin.
