Malibu Residence

On a gently sloping site with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, the new residence and guest house are a composition of earthen concrete, glass, steel, and water. The site-specific design is highly resilient to local climate risks. The architecture’s pavilion, earthen hillside lower levels, and water roofs all subtly emboss and deboss the existing contours of the landscape. Photo Credit: Aidlin Darling Design
