Tide House

CMSA Architects — 2024

Tide House features a light gray exterior with a standing seam metal roof and a balcony overlooking surrounding greenery and water.

Tide House serves as a compact yet thoughtfully designed waterfront outbuilding, created to support both daily use and quiet retreat. Positioned directly along the water, the structure balances functionality with a calm coastal presence. Inside, light-filled interiors feature soft coastal tones, exposed ceiling structure, and efficient planning that maximizes every square foot. Large openings frame water views while maintaining a sense of privacy and focus, making the space equally suited for work, relaxation, and entertaining. Durable materials, elevated construction, and direct dock access reinforce the building’s relationship to its setting. As a companion structure, Tide House reflects CMSA Architects’ ability to bring design clarity and craftsmanship to projects of every scale.
