Porch Talk House, Seaside Park

Located on the ocean block, about 200 feet from the beach, Porch Talk House is a new two-story 3015 sq. ft. summer residence that will eventually become the client's full-time location. The house has been designed to exceed the current FEMA and township flood zone requirements. The design of the new home is inspired by classic shingle style and craftsman beach houses of the north-east, but with an open floor plan and a slight modern twist for contemporary and casual living. The exterior materials consist of an off-white stained cedar shingle siding with a dramatic charcoal colored brick base, copper and cedar shingle roofing, and black sash windows, giving this house a crisp modern feel, while it remains deeply rooted in tradition. As its namesake suggests, its all about the porch and gathering with friends and family.
