Cow Hollow Residence

Cow Hollow Residence is a contemporary, three-story home in San Francisco designed by Martinkovic Milford Architects and completed in 2026. The project centered on transforming an existing structure into a residence oriented toward both daily living and entertaining, shaped by a collaboration with a developer client. The urban site necessitated careful consideration of interior connectivity and opportunities for daylight and outlook, resulting in spaces that address both privacy and views to the Bay from upper levels. The architectural composition is defined by a light-filled central staircase that organizes circulation vertically and introduces daylight deep into the home's core. An open floor plan establishes visual and physical connections between communal spaces. The penthouse level features access to terraces, linking interior living with outdoor areas and extending sightlines toward the surrounding city and water. Interior designer Natasha Sadeghi contributed to a restrained material palette, supporting a calm and cohesive modern character throughout the residence.
