alta guesthouse

this project was conceived as a guesthouse for the alta project. the client wanted a departure from the main house and the two houses would be located in two adjoining valleys with no view of each other. similar to the main alta house, this is located in a valley for privacy and wind protection, but the client wanted this house to reflect a south african dutch colonial homestead with a myriad of connected buildings rendered in a stark white.
