Arby Residence

The Arby Residence in Beverly Hills is the result of an extensive addition and renovation by Space International Inc., who were tasked with upgrading an existing home set above a canyon. The goal was to improve the original floor plan while maximizing connections to the landscape and expansive views. The design introduces a clerestory roof that brings light deep into the interior and emphasizes the outlook over the surrounding terrain. Changes to the main house are complemented by a new guest wing and an extended wood terrace, together shaping the footprint into a courtyard-style plan with distinct functional zones. These modifications create defined outdoor and indoor spaces suitable for varied uses. Kathleen Ferguson Landscapes contributed a landscape design that integrates with the architecture, tying together the renovated residence and its grounds with attention to detail across the site.
