Entrance pathway features stone walls, a wood panel accent with modern sculpture, leading to a house with a shingled roof.

Waterfront Interiors is a beachfront residence completed in 2016, designed by Tyler Engle Architects, PS with interior design by Waterfront Interiors. The project was shaped by the client’s significant collection of African artifacts along with 19th and 20th century photography and fine art, providing a guiding reference throughout the development of the spaces. The design incorporates a display cabinet positioned between the living and dining rooms, formed as a suspended element held by two slender columns. A dedicated art niche constructed from steel plates positions a tribal mask at head height, while a series of intentionally divided interior windows allow for framed and filtered views between spaces. The interiors strike a deliberate balance between openness and contemplation, supporting the display of art while maintaining a modern atmosphere.
