Conceived as an age-in-place dwelling, the project responds to the client's need for accessible living and flexibility to support family gatherings. The home is the result of collaboration between the owner and her daughters, integrating architectural design, custom stained glass, and artwork into the spatial fabric. The layout is arranged primarily on one level for accessibility, providing direct entry from the garage, a main-floor primary suite with integrated laundry, and open-plan living areas that prioritize ease of movement. Generous sliding doors connect the main spaces to a deck overlooking lake and mountain views. The lower level includes an accessory dwelling unit, offering options for guests, rental use, or multi-generational living. The material palette relies on a minimal, contemporary approach, and the landscape was shaped in partnership with Cambium, Inc. to support both privacy and outdoor connection.
