Rice Magister House, completed by CONTENT Architecture in 2022, is located at the center of the Rice University campus and serves as both the private residence for the Will Rice College magister and a venue for community gatherings. The house responds to the dual function of accommodating a single family while supporting events for a residential college community of roughly 300 students. Its placement within the collegiate landscape aligns it with the scale, materials, and architectural language of neighboring campus buildings, while simultaneously introducing a more contemporary suite of spaces and design approaches consistent with evolving institutional standards.
