Our goal was to create a home with the strength and permanence of this mountain setting, yet with the quiet elegance and serenity of the wild grasses that blanket the valleys. We let the site’s intrinsic beauty guide the design. The board-formed concrete home settles quietly into the slope with extended roof planes and site walls to soften the home’s edges and connect the form to its surroundings.
