Approaching the house, large, roughly cut limestone steps lead to the front door. Upon entering, the first view is of the built-in dining nook, a welcoming and cozy invitation. A stunning 1938 tapestry was chosen as a backdrop, grounding the corner, and using color and pattern to make it part of the entry. Once inside the great room, a double-sided limestone fireplace divides the common area and the sitting room, which is lined with bifold doors that open to nature. That connection to the outside continues throughout the home, allowing it to expand beyond its edges and redefine its site.
