Winn Wittman Architecture — Waco, TX, 2026

Horse Ranch is a residence and equestrian facility completed in 2026 by Winn Wittman Architecture in Waco, Texas. Set on a 500-acre ranch, the project includes a large home and specialized spaces for quarter horse activities, with the siting influenced by the natural context of the area. The design is organized into four main volumes: the two-story principal residence, a primary suite, a separate garage, and a guest house. A broad porte-cochère marks the entry and directs movement toward the house while visually linking the architecture to its rural surroundings. The front elevation features a combination of faceted and undulating glass, partly screened by vertical wood elements and local stone buttresses. These materials and forms reference the topography of the surrounding hills, integrating the architecture with the landscape.
