Old-World French Estate

Old-World French Estate is a custom residence completed in 2023 in Houston’s River Oaks neighborhood. The project was realized through a collaborative process, with Design DCA responsible for the floor plan and construction documents, while David Price Design contributed the exterior concept and advised on millwork and interior selections. Interior design was provided by Pam Giarrusso of The Design Tap. Architectural antiques sourced from France were integrated into the interiors, introducing historic elements into the fabric of the home. The design balances traditional details referencing old-world French estates with the demands of contemporary living, resulting in a house that accommodates its Houston site through a combination of imported character pieces and modern spatial planning.
